Agro Union CJSC: Cultivating a Greener Future

In June 2023, a vision was planted—one of growth, innovation, and sustainability. Agro Union CJSC was born from a shared passion for the future of agriculture in Armenia. We saw an incredible opportunity to shape the future of farming in our country. So, we began our journey by turning dreams into reality in the fertile soils of the Armavir region.

Our mission is simple yet ambitious: to revolutionize Armenia’s agricultural landscape with a special focus on walnut orchards. With 300 hectares of land under cultivation, we are not just growing trees; we are cultivating a legacy. These walnut orchards are just the beginning of what we envision—a future where innovation meets tradition to create a sustainable agricultural ecosystem that will benefit generations to come.

But we are not stopping at walnut orchards. Our passion for agriculture extends beyond the roots of our trees. Agro Union is committed to expanding into various sectors within agriculture, from soil enhancement to sustainable farming practices. With each step, we are laying the foundation for a stronger agricultural community in Armenia, one that blends modern techniques with respect for our rich agricultural heritage.

Today, we are a close-knit team of over 20 dedicated employees, but our vision extends far beyond our current scope. In the coming years, we plan to grow our workforce to 70 passionate individuals, creating more jobs and contributing to the local economy.

While our walnuts will only be ready for harvest in 4-5 years, we are already sowing the seeds of excitement and anticipation. Join us on this journey as we cultivate not just orchards but a thriving future for Armenia’s agriculture.

  • Establish 300 Hectares of Walnut Orchards: We are focused on successfully cultivating 300 hectares of high-quality walnut orchards in Armavir, setting a new standard for sustainable farming in Armenia.
  • Explore New Agricultural Ventures: Agro Union is dedicated to expanding our horizons by investing in various agricultural branches, enriching our expertise, and broadening our impact.
  • Create Local Job Opportunities: We are passionate about generating sustainable employment for local communities and driving economic development, with plans to increase our workforce from 20 to 70 employees in the coming years.
